Saint Patrick of Ireland

I was born in Roman Britain. My father was a Roman magistrate, and I was probably raised as a Christian. At the age of 16, I was kidnapped by the Irish and became the slave of a pagan priest. I was forced to work as a shepherd, whilst dreaming of trying to escape. After six years, I managed to run away and board a ship to Britain. I studied to become a priest in England and France, and at the age of 43, I became a bishop in Ireland. At first, the Druids or pagan priests tried to influence the people, so that they did not welcome me.Yet, God worked miracles through me and the power of the Christian God was shown to people. For 30 years, I preached the faith and built monasteries in Ireland. By the time I died, at the age of 72, I had shown the Irish how to find God.
